Overall, this was the best game to watch as a Calgary Flames fan because it is against the Oilers and it is a game you always look forward to watching. This game had 42 penalty minutes total from both sides. This game was the first time when the Battle of Alberta meets this season. The Oilers score the first goal of the game after a Flames turnover on the power play. Alex Chiasson scores the first goal of the game as a short-handed goal. The Flames kept giving away the puck which leads to many Oilers scoring chances, but David Rittich stood his ground and made some key saves. Sam Bennett and Darnell Nurse’s fight gave momentum to the Flames and helped turn the game around. Rittich made a huge save to keep it as a one-goal game. Flames have really great scoring chances. McDavid scores to make it 2-0 Oilers. Derek Ryan scores on the power play to cut the lead in half. Sean Monahan ties the game up 2-2 in the third period. Elias Lindholm scores and makes 3-2 Flames. Lindholm scores an empty net goal to make it 4-2 Flames and the Flames win the game. The Flames come from behind and score four unanswered goals. Really looking forward to the next Battle of Alberta game.
